The main purpose of this original power point presentation was to share key points on recent work on monitoring and reporting, an impact review and effective participation that were relevant to the ETF and the Western Balkans.

The focus on this presentation is on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities and in specific on its content and monitoring mechanisms. As Social inclusion was a key issue of the meeting and the Advisory Committee was developing a Commentary on its Article 15 that relates to participation in social and economic life, this was a focus of this presentation. Impact of the OSCE HCNM

This presentation was made to a group of OSCE Ambassadors in The Hague to celebrate the successful work of the HCNM and the close cooperation with the Advisory Committee of the FCNM.
They often approach the same issues from mutually reinforcing but different perspectives, which has been valued by both and welcomed by governments and national minorities. (more…)
